Scripture Readings for Christmas

The Season of Christmas consist of the twelve days from sundown 24 December (Christmas Eve) until sun$down 5 January.

The lectionary works in a three-year cycle, Year A, Year B, and Year C.

In the Season of Christmas, use the readings for:
Year A in 2010  |  Year B in 2011  |  Year C in 2012

Christmas Day—All Years

• Alternate One
• Alternate Two
• Alternate Three

January First—All Years

• Holy Name
• New Years Day

Christmas 2010 (Year A)

• 26 December 2010, The First Sunday after Christmas Day
• 2 January 2011, The Second Sunday after Christmas Day
  This is Epiphany Sunday if you do not observe Epiphany Day on January 6.

Christmas 2011 (Year B)

• 1 January 2012, The First Sunday after Christmas Day
  This is Epiphany Sunday if you do not observe Epiphany Day on January 6.

Christmas 2012 (Year C)

• 30 December 2012, The First Sunday after Christmas Day
